Overview

Picture Perfect Tours is an award-winning, adventure travel provider in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

We offer custom, small-group tours to higher-value guests looking to experience the best of Nova Scotia.

Picture Perfect Tours is a limited liability company owned and operated by Geordie Mott. We opened in 2015 and have worked with select travel trade partners since 2018.

We offer half-day, full-day, and multi-day experiences to destinations throughout Atlantic Canada. Our specialty is catering to smaller, private groups but we have hosted families, larger groups and even bigger corporate events over the years.

Our Team

Our team members are able to assist with story ideas and planning for your guests. We know the best places to eat, hidden off-the-beaten-path trails, incredible local history, and local travel tips to make the most of your clients adventure in Nova Scotia.

Geordie Mott

Owner & Operator

Geordie brings over 25+ years of customer experience and interpersonal skills from the hospitality and tourism sectors in the Maritimes. He is a professional photographer and an emerit certified tour director, an OCC Hiking Field Leader and a Wilderness First Responder.

Charlie Bourne

Senior Tour Guide

Charlie specializes in tours to Sable Island NPR, Peggy’s Cove and the Annapolis Valley. He is an architect by trade, a local born and bred Haligonian who happens to be an incredible photographer, designer and emerit certified tour guide.

Ian Black

Senior Tour Guide

Ian is a master performer and storyteller here in Halifax. Ian has been a professional comedian for over 15 years and also worked in the local hospitality industry for decades as well.

Terms & Conditions

Rates & guests

Competitive hourly base rates.
Travel trade offerings are exclusively private tours.
Half-day tours (5-6 hours).
Full-day tours (8-9 hours).
Custom multi-day tours.
Tour base rates are priced for 1-4 guests.
Extra guests from 5-10 are priced per person.
Maximum 10 guests unless alternative transport is arranged.
Discount on multi-day tours of 2 or more days.

Payment

A 50% deposit is required for multi-day tours to secure the dates.
No deposit is required for a single half-day or full-day tour.
Prices are in CAD, and a 15% HST sales tax will be added to all invoices.
A travel trade discount of 15% is offered to our partners.
We accept payment before the tour, or we can invoice after the tour.
We accept major credit cards, CAD cheques, or CAD e-transfer.
Gratuities are not included, but a 20% gratuity can be added upon request.

Bookings & cancellations

Booking requests are made by email or telephone.
Confirmation of booking within 24 hours.
All cancellations must be submitted by email or phone.
100% refund 30 days or more before the tour date.
50% refund if canceled 30 and 14 days before the tour date.
No refund for cancellations with less than 14 days’ notice.

Inclusions

Hotel pick-up and drop-off from downtown Halifax.
Luggage transfers on multi-day tours.
Transport in our 2010 Mercedes Sprinter passenger van.
Entry fees to parks and museums.
Vehicle costs including mileage, fuel, tolls, parking, insurance, etc.
$2,000,000 commercial liability insurance.
Experienced tour guides are licensed Class 4 driver in Nova Scotia.
Beverages available during tour (water, pop, sports drinks).
Custom gift pack from Picture Perfect Tours.

Exclusions

Guest meals and beverages.
Guest alcoholic beverages.
Guide meals.
Guide accommodation.

Vehicle

2010 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter passenger van
Features full back seats, a large storage area, a raised roof, and large viewing windows.
Wired microphone and onboard speakers for narration.
Capacity for 10 with luggage for small group charters and overnight tours.
Coolers for complimentary onboard beverages.
A curated selection of local photography books.
DVD screens showcasing footage of the local region.
