Avoid These Mistakes To Take Better Photos on Sable Island
In October of 2023, I gave a presentation to the Friends of Sable Island ‘Timeless Tides’ conference highlighting some of the mistakes I’ve made over the 7+ years photographing the wildlife, landscape and magic of Sable Island National Park Reserve.
The slideshow shares some of the challenges photographers of all skill levels could face photographing in such a wild and remote environment, and the insights I’ve learned to overcome those challenges.
This isn’t a comprehensive list of challenges, but these are some of the big and consistent issues our guests have dealt with in the past.
