Journey along the coast that is often forgot about when people think of Halifax, Nova Scotia - the stunning Eastern Shore.
North and east from downtown along the edge of the Atlantic ocean is the historic Eastern Shore with its mesmerizing coastal landscapes, historic Acadian villages, fisherman at work and cold weather surfers dancing on waves.
We will have this area all to yourselves with your local photographer pointing out the favourite spots for snapping pictures and helping you make the most of your camera or device. We will also showcase some of the area's rich history of the through archival images, maps, movies and photographs courtesy of the NS Archives.
We encourage you to take your time throughout the afternoon to absorb the rugged and remote beauty along 'Canada's Ocean Playground'. A few of the spots we may visit include the Acadian village of Grand Desert, the locals working at Fisherman's Reserve, Lawrencetown Provincial Park, the beautiful new Flag Pond Municipal Park, the colourful tourist spot of Fisherman's Cove and a few other hidden gems in between.

Our tours require a fair amount of walking often over uneven terrain and several flights of stairs to get the best images. We do not recommend our tours to anyone who may have; mobility issues, breathing difficulties, back problems or may be pregnant. We need a minimum of two adult guests book to operate this tour. A single guest can choose to either purchase a second ticket on the day of the tour if no one else has booked, or receive a full refund.
